As an LTI-compliant tool provider, Clover is compatible with all LMS platforms that support LTI integration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.1edtech.org\/standards\/lti\"><strong>Learning Tools Interoperability\u00ae (LTI\u00ae)<\/strong> <\/a>enables your Learning Management System (LMS) to connect seamlessly and securely with external tools like Clover. This standards-based integration allows your LMS to transmit essential information to Clover, including the user\u2019s role (instructor or student) and the course context from which the tool is launched.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Importantly, <strong>Clover relies on LTI 1.3 (LTI Advantage)<\/strong> to deliver the most secure and feature-rich integration. This enables students and instructors to launch Clover directly from within the LMS without requiring additional usernames or passwords \u2014 ensuring seamless, authenticated access every time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Clover also supports automatic user account creation at launch, combining registration and single sign-on (SSO) into a single, streamlined workflow \u2014 reducing administrative tasks and providing a smooth user experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Configuration Steps<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>To integrate Clover with your LMS, two key registrations are required:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Step1: Registering the Tool (Clover) in the LMS<\/strong><br>Configure Clover as an external learning tool within your LMS. This enables the LMS to connect to Clover and pass essential user and course information during launch.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Step 2:<\/strong> <strong>Registering the Platform (LMS) in Clover<\/strong><br>Set up the LMS as a trusted platform within Clover. This allows Clover to recognize and securely accept requests coming from your LMS.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-step-1-registering-the-tool-clover-in-the-lms\"><strong>Step 1:<\/strong> <strong><strong>Registering the Tool (Clover) in the LMS<\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Follow these steps to configure Clover as an external tool in your LMS:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Log in to your Clover administrator account.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Navigate to the <strong>LMS Settings<\/strong> section in the left-hand menu.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click <strong>LTI Configuration<\/strong> to access the required URLs, keys, and credentials needed for the LMS setup:\n<ul adding\u00a0<strong>Clover<\/strong>\u00a0as an\u00a0<strong>external LTI tool<\/strong>\u00a0in your LMS, you can choose the\u00a0<strong>context level<\/strong>\u00a0at which the integration operates: Per\u00a0<strong>Course<\/strong>\u00a0or Per\u00a0<strong>Unit<\/strong>\u00a0(also known as\u00a0<em>section<\/em>,\u00a0<em>module<\/em>, or\u00a0<em>topic<\/em>, depending on the LMS).
