Clover provides an intuitive interface for managing users with ease. IT administrators can create new users manually, synchronize them directly from the Microsoft Entra ID directory, or automatically retrieve them from the LMS when users log in via the LMS. This flexibility ensures seamless and efficient user management across all platforms.

This guide will help you understand how to manage users effectively within the Clover system. User Management involves adding users, assigning roles, managing permissions, and ensuring that your Clover instance is secure and organized.

Clover provides a role-based access control system to ensure that users have the appropriate permissions for their responsibilities. Below is an overview of the key roles available in Clover:

Each role is designed to provide users with the tools and permissions they need without compromising security.

To view the existing users in Clover-VTL, follow these steps:

This categorization helps administrators quickly identify user sources and manage access accordingly.

Clover-VTL allows administrators to either import users from external systems or manually create new user accounts. Below are the available options for adding users to the platform.

If your organization is integrated with an LMS such as Moodle, Canvas, or Blackboard, users can be automatically synchronized. The system retrieves user details directly from the LMS without requiring manual intervention.

If Clover is integrated with an LMS such as Moodle, Canvas, or Blackboard, users can be automatically synchronized. Clover retrieves user details directly from the LMS without requiring manual intervention.

To import users from Azure AD, follow these steps:

Once imported, these users will be able to log in using Microsoft Single Sign-On (SSO).

If a user is not available in an LMS or Azure AD, administrators can manually create an account in Clover-VTL.

The user will then be added to the system and can log in with the credentials provided.
