You can easily get Clover from the Azure Marketplace in just one click! Simply click the “Microsoft Azure Marketplace” button on the download page to start exploring Clover’s powerful features immediately.
No, Clover is exclusively available through the Microsoft Azure Marketplace.
To successfully provide your users (teachers, trainers, students, etc.) with desktops and applications through Clover, you need the following:
- Clover License: Appropriate licenses acquired during the purchase of Clover from the Azure Marketplace.
- Azure Account: An active Azure subscription.
- AVD Access License: One of the following per-user licenses to access Azure Virtual Desktop:
- Microsoft 365 E3/E5
- Microsoft 365 A3/A5/Student Use Benefits
- Microsoft 365 F3
- Microsoft 365 Business Premium
- Windows 11 & Windows 10 Enterprise E3/E5
- Windows 11 & Windows 10 Education A3/A5
- Windows 11 & Windows 10 VDA per user
- Network Connectivity: Reliable internet connection to access the virtual desktops and applications.
- Remote Desktop Client: A compatible Remote Desktop client installed on the user’s device. This could be: Windows Desktop client, macOS client, iOS client, Android client, Microsoft Edge or any other HTML5-compliant web browser

Pricing & Billing FAQ
Clover is offered as a transactable Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution through the Microsoft marketplace. Our billing model is per user, per month, making it easy to scale with your organization’s needs. As we co-sell with Microsoft, you can conveniently purchase Clover through your existing Microsoft channels.
Yes, choosing annual billing saves you 10% on your subscription.
Yes, a one-month free trial is included when you subscribe to the Standard Plan.
A Registered User is any individual (learner, teacher, or administrator) who has been registered in the Clover platform. This includes users who access Clover via Learning Tools Interoperability (LTI) from their LMS or sign directly into Clover via Single Sign-On (SSO).
Yes, there is a minimum requirement of 10 registered users for the selected plan.
Yes, during the first trial month, the number of registered users is limited to a maximum of 10, regardless of how many users you initially selected during subscription setup. After the trial period ends, your originally selected user count will be applied.
No, the Azure resource consumption fees related to AVD-based virtual labs are charged separately by Microsoft and are not included in Clover’s pricing plans.
You will receive your bill directly from Microsoft. This bill includes two parts:
- Clover SaaS usage fees, billed per user monthly or annually, depending on your selected plan.
- Azure resource consumption fees associated with your AVD resources.
You can view your detailed billing information in the Microsoft Azure Portal under the “Cost Management + Billing” section.
